Laura and I made our way to the park after a brief stop at the Cow and the Coffee Bean, a coffee shop just inside the grounds. I can't make up names like that, my friends.
Then we started the steep walk up to the Royal Observatory and the Park. We had packed a picnic lunch and sat next to a beautiful patch of daffodils to enjoy it. The picture is of Laura laughing at some goofy thing I said :)
We proceeded to walk around the Park, taking lots of pictures as we went. Laura is a very good photographer who would love to make it her profession. I'll share some of the pictures she took later, but on our walk, we also got to enjoy some wildlife! The cutest squirrels were all around. One came very close to us on the path, not too worried about human company. We still had some nuts and fruit left from lunch, so I attempted to coax him closer. He ate out of my hand! I was so thrilled! A few of his buddies came along soon after, so we have a few fun pictures to memorialize the event :)
Look at his little paws holding my finger!!!
The day ended with Laura making homemade paneer korma and fresh chapatis. Mmm...It was good :)
